I’ve been to Terrain many times and every time I discover something new, a new piece of decor I love, a new item on the menu that is DELICIOUS, and this time I discovered an entirely transformed event space! Every single detail of this beautiful wedding at Terrain in Glen Mills was absolutely perfect. From the florals done by the Terrain florist, to the candles that took up every inch of the beautiful reception space, you’re going to love this purple wedding just as much as I loved being there!!

How They Met & The Proposal

Dana and Nick actually met in high school where they were one grade apart. However it took them over two years of knowing each other for them to chat enough and get to know each other before they started dating. After a good number of years together, Nick wanted to plan the ultimate surprise proposal for Dana. She had planned a trip to Florida and he figured since she planned the trip, she wouldn’t be expecting him to ask her to marry him! He got his hands on a drone, took her to the beach, asked her to face the ocean and programmed the drone to record while circling them. When he told her to turn around, he was down on one knee asking a very important question…

Their Terrain at Styers Wedding

I’m still in awe as I look back at these images and remember how absolutely perfect this wedding day was! I arrived at Nick’s family estate and it was such a dream! From the excitement of Dana’s parents alone, I knew it was going to be a great day. Dana and Nick have been together for so long that everyone was just so thrilled that their wedding day had finally arrived! Dana is actually a photographer as well, which is totally intimidating, but she did such a great job of being in the moment and turning off her photographer brain :) Although I was very thankful for her photographer brain leading up to the wedding, because she had all of the details I could ever dream of photographing, not to mention the extra florals she arranged to have to compliment those details!

These two are so in tune with each other and have such a respect for the other as well. They are so invested in everyone around them, and it really showed on their wedding day because each and every one of their loved ones were fully present for them.

From the lanterns hanging in the temple at Terrain, to the florals cascading on the front of it, this ceremony was gorgeous. When you walked into the reception space you were greeted with a twinkling magical atmosphere full of market lights and hundreds of candles.
